![]() If you plan on fishing in a kayak with any moving water this is a must have. When I do, I'll definitely install one of these on it. I'm looking at getting a smaller 1-person kayak. That one wellnut pulling out was the only issue I had, and once that was fixed I got it done no problem. I'm looking for a smaller 1-person Angler kayak, if the one I end up getting doesn't have an anchor trolley already, I'll definitely get this one and install it right away. I chalk that up to this being my first anchor trolley install. Sure it may have been defective, but a trip to Home Depot and $2.40 later I had 3 identical 5/8" wellnuts for a #10-32 thread machine screw. When the guy says "fully tighten the wellnuts," that means get them nice and snug but be sure not to overdo it. Watch the video on YakGear's website for the Deluxe Anchor Trolley Kit. I had one wellnut that had a nut pull loose of the rubber sleeve (probably because I over tightened it. I purchased pop rivets and a riveter myself and installed the pad-eyes with 3/16 marine pop rivets (NOT INCLUDED in this kit anymore). Had done a lot of reading and people seem to prefer the Harken pulleys so I purchased this one. ![]() Just installed it on my 2007 Wilderness Systems Pamlico 160T which I'm modifying for fishing. ![]()
